Our Codnor

The hall is a Grade II listed building wholly owned by the church of St Michael. The hall is a popular and an essential asset for the community in and around Kirk Langley, providing a place for celebrations, meetings, clubs’ and societies’ functions, drama productions, adult learning and much more. In order to ensure that the hall continues to provide suitable accommodation as well as enable better access for all potential users a great deal of money needs to be spent. An architect has created plans for a viable scheme and calculated a budget cost. Following liaison with the church commissioners, conservation and the Amber Valley planning department the scheme now has secured full planning approval and Grade II Listed Building Consent.
